Welcome to the ARIA Resort & Casino, and the 2018 Poker Masters for Event #5: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em.

Friday saw the kick-off of the 2018 Poker Masters live from the PokerGO Studio and Event #1 would see David Peters emerge victorious over the 69-player field to capture the $193,200 first prize. Event #2 took place on Saturday, and Brandon Adams defeated the 50-player field to take home the $400,000 first prize. Sunday saw the game change to Pot-Limit Omaha, and it would be Keith Lehr defeating the 37-player field to capture the $333,000 first prize.

Monday saw the game switch again with Event #4: $10,000 Short Deck Poker taking center stage. The newest craze to hit the poker world saw a popular turnout of 55 players that ensured the final eight players a guaranteed payday. Justin Young would be eliminated on the bubble before Jason Koon (8th), and Jonathan Depa (7th) fell short of the final table. Dominik Nitsche would hold the slightest of chip leads over Andrew Robl, while Ryan Tosoc, Isaac Haxton, Maurice Hawkins, and Cary Katz rounded out the remainder of the final table. Day 2 final table action will be live streamed on PokerGO, while updates will be provided right here on PokerNews once play begins at 12 p.m. (PDT).
