Hands #126-128: Aldemir Doubles Through Smith

Niveau 17 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Hand #126: David Peters made it 65,000 with {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Dan Smith defended big blind with {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} by three-betting to 250,000. Peters let it go.

Hand #127: Smith completed {q-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Peters checked with {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Smith had all of the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} board and he bet 60,000 on the river after it checked down. Peters dropped in a call and lost the showdown.

Hand #128: Smith raised to 60,000 with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} on the button and tank-called the shove — using a time extension — of Koray Aldemir, who had {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and 780,000 in the big blind.

The {4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} board nailed Aldemir as he now just needed to dodge backdoors. The {7-Spades} did make it a sweat to the river but the {6-Spades} was harmless.

The {q-Diamonds} came off on the turn and Aldemir checked again. Smith looked like he gave up on the hand with a check back and the {2-Diamonds} completed the board. Aldemir checked again but Smith released a bet of 160,000. Aldemir quickly folded and Smith won the pot with just six-high.
