PokerStars Championship Panama may be winding down, but the action is still very much intense with the final 12 players remaining in the $5,300 Main Event! Play continues today on Day 5 at noon local time in the search for the final six players to make it to the final day tomorrow.
Russia's Denis Timofeev leads the way with 2,070,00 and is the only player over two million so far. End-of-day chip leader on Day 3, James Salmon sits in second with 1,612,000 and Byron Kaverman rounds out the top three with 1,236,000 chips.
The day begins on Level 21 with blinds at 8,000/16,000 with a 2,000 ante. When there are six players remaining. play will continue tomorrow on Day 6 with hold cards up en route to finding a champion.

Luis Alejandro Mata started out as the shortest stack today and had just been eliminated. He shoved all in from the cutoff for 148,000 and found a caller in Byron Kaverman on the button and big blind James Salmon.
The side pot would remain empty as Kaverman and Salmon checked down the entire board of .
When it was time for everyone to show their cards, it turned out everyone had hit. Salmon was best though, showing against the of Mata and of Kaverman.
In a battle of the blinds, small blind Robin Luca Wozniczek limped in. Big blind Vincent Allevato was the shortest stack in the field and moved in, followed by a snap call by Wozniczek.

The board ran out and Allevato wished the table good luck before departing. Down to 10 players now in the Main Event.
Kenneth Smaron opened with a raise to 45,000 from middle position. Cutoff Robin Luca Wozniczek called before Denis Timofeev on the button squeezed to 160,000.
Byron Kaverman tanked for some time before he let it go. The big blind folded as well and so did Smaron. Wozniczek, though, four-bet to 320,000 and Timofeev called to create a pot of 742,000.
The flop came and Wozniczek bet a mere 183,000. Timofeev called.
The hit the turn and Wozniczek bet another 285,000. Timofeev folded after just about 20 seconds or so.
Wozniczek showed and calmly collected the chips in the pot.
Action folded around to Jonathan Abdellatif in the small blind and he moved all in for his remaining 238,000.
James Salmon was in the big blind and snap-called.

Michael Lech, down to just 120,000, shoved all in from the cutoff. Anthony Diotte, the second shortest stack, moved in over the top from the small blind for 200,000 total.
That wouldn't be the end of it just yet as big blind Robin Luca Wozniczek snap called to put them both at risk.
