Un quart d'heure avant, Romain Nardin avait rendu les armes en 8e position suite à un coup rocambolesque contre le tricolore Michael Kolkowicz (ci-dessous). Chipleader en début de journée, Nardin ouvre under the gun et effectue une mise de continuation sur

quand son adversaire fait tapis. Le Français paye donc pour jouer un pot énorme avec quinte ventrale... et trouve un au tournant pour rester l'ultime représentant du poker hexagonal en finale. Romain Nardin encaisse 58 740€, son plus gros gain, nul doute qu'il aura d'autres occasions. Il peut être fier de son Jour 3 qu'il avait commencé avec 8 blindes pour finir en boulet de canon !
mmet[/B]. Après s'être marié dans cette Salle des Etoiles le Français a pourtant vécu une journée compliquée. Deuxième à l'entame du Jour 5, il a rétrogradé en milieu de peloton avant de mettre les gaz et de taxer les derniers jetons de Nardin et Kitai.
La finale s'annonce très disputée puisque personne n'a fait l'écart. Parmi les finalistes, on notera tout de même la présence d'Andreas Klatt. L'Allemand a remporté le PokerStars National Championship qui avait rassemblé 1252 entrants (après un deal avec le Français Romain Lewis, ndlr) avant de sauter directement dans le Main Event ! Dans un tournoi depuis 9 jours sans avoir sauté, Klatt va prendre largement la tête du leaderboard MonteDam qui assure quelques prix sympathiques à ceux qui enchaîneront avec le WPT Amsterdam.
Comme tous les finalistes, il est au moins assuré d'un gain à six chiffres de 108 300€... et rêve encore plus fort du premier prix de 500 800€ qui se disputera vendredi à partir de 13 heures avec 43 minutes à jouer sur les blindes 40000-80000 (10000).
La finale est à suivre en streaming live avec les cartés révélées et en Français à partir de 14 heures avec un décalage de 60 minutes pour assurer la sécurité.

Avec 27 blindes en début de journée, jeudi, Bertrand Grospellier a résisté le plus longtemps possible sans entrevoir la lumière. Stefan Schillhabel (16e pour 25 700€) et Sergio Aido (14e pour 33 600€) ont rendu les armes avant le dernier Team Pro PokerStars mais ElkY doit se contenter de la 12e place après un flip perdu sur la rivière. Déçu, le Français réalise tout de même son plus gros gain depuis de longs mois. Une performance qui devrait pousser le plus gros vainqueur tricolore de l'histoire du poker de tournois (11 millions de dollars de gains, ndlr) à réaliser un Las Vegas plein pour accrocher un deuxième bracelet WSOP...

Maxim Panyak raised to 180,000 from the cutoff and action got to Davidi Kitai in the big blind. The Belgian EPT and WSOP champion, who started the hand with just 5 big blinds, called to see a flop.
With on the flop, Kitai shoved for 270,000. Panyak asked for a count prompting a smile by Kitai who seemed happy his opponent didn't snap call. Panyak did call eventually.

We decided to find out what our poker players at the PokerStars Championship presented by Monte-Carlo thought about the idea.
