Jason Wheeler opened for 2,700 and face a three-bet from his neighbor Sergey Isupov to 7,500. The blinds folded and action was back on Wheeler.

Close to five minutes ticked by as Wheeler jiggled his leg restlessly and the table awaited his decision. Wheeler then cut out a bet and raised to 17,500.

I was Isupov’s turn to decode the bet but he had one last look at his cards and let it go.

“You three bet me too much,” Wheeler told Isupov. “I give you the first three, I don’t give you any more. I’m not the Bank of America.”

Three More Down in the Theatre

Niveau 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Andrey Gulyy and Grigorii Rodin have been eliminated while Vitaly Karayan spiked a lucky double through Dmitry Chop.

Rodin three-bet shoved for his last 15,600 with the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and initial raiser Mikalai Vaskaboinikau snap-called with {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Rodin was asking for hearts, but the {K-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop gave Vaskaboinikau a full house. Rodin simply said "njet" - no in Russian - and the players at the table chuckled, while the {3-Hearts} turn and {2-Spades} river were a mere formality.

Chop opened to 2,600 and Karayan shoved for 15,600. Chop reluctantly called and tabled {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}, which was ahead of Karayan's {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. The board came {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Karayan stayed in.

Mikhail Chernyshov had less luck and busted after having bought in before the start of Day 2.

Niveau 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Hugo Dos Santos Videira was in the cut-off and had opened the action. Van Thach Vu was in the small blind and Ivan Kozyrev in the big blind.

The flop was {4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and a check from Vu saw a bet of 3,000 form Kozyrev and calls from Videira and Vu.

The turn card was the {6-Diamonds} and, first to act, Vu moved all in. It took a moment or two but Kozyrev called and that was the cue for Videira exhale and look to the heavens. He said a few words to himself before shaking his head and folding. Cards were on their back with Kozyrev the smaller stack.

Vu had turned two pair holding {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} while Kozyrev tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

The river was the {4-Clubs} pairing the board an counterfeiting Vu’s hand.
