Christoph Vogelsang s'impose après 5 heures de head's up. Le pro allemand a finalement pris le meilleur sur Jake Schindler pour remporter le Super High Roller Bowl à l'ARIA et transformer 300.000$ en 6 millions !
Vogelsang atteint presque les 14 millions de gains en carrière... avec sa première victoire en live ! Son meilleur résultat jusqu'alors était une 3e place sur le High Roller For One Drop 2014 à 1 million l'entrée où il avait tout de même encaissé 4,4 millions d'un coup. Vogelsang est désormais le deuxième allemand à la All Time Money List derrière Fedor Holz.
Vogelsang remporte aussi un last longer contre ses 7 compatriotes engagés pour un bonus de 16 000$ ainsi qu'un package Main Event à 13 500$ pour le Main Event WSOP offert par 888poker.

Ils étaient encore 3 en lice à l'entame de l'ultime journée qui s'est déroulée dans la nuit de jeudi à vendredi. Avec un peu moins de 15 blindes,
Stefan Schillhabel était clairement distancé.
Le joueur allemand a amorcé un retour en doublant son tapis mais un clash avec Vogelsang lui a été fatal. Schillhabel a ouvert avec 
, s'est fait payer par Schindler puis 3-bet par Vogelsang, et il a tout mis. Vogelsang a payé avec 
et malgré un flop où il a trouvé un , le tournant et la rivière n'ont pas été suffisants. Schillhabel encaisse 2,4 millions de dollars.
Le head's up a ensuite été une longue bataille que Schindler a entamé avec un avantage de 2 contre 1 en jetons. L'Américain a poussé son avantage pour s'emparer de 75% des jetons du tournoi et a eu une presque balle de match dans un pot 3-bet. Schindler a fait top paire avec 
mais Vogelsang a trouvé une couleur rivière pour s'emparer de la tête du tournoi.
Schindler n'a rien lâché pour repasser devant, Vogelsang tombant même à 27 blindes... avant de toucher une rivière magique. Après avoir limp call avec
