Easing into the Action
Play has been underway for a little over 15-minutes now and there have been no significant pots or clashes so far. Manig Loeser got to play the button twice, as with Wang Qiang’s elimination from the big blind on Day 2 there is just Peter Chan paying a single big blind for the first hand.
Loeser took down the first two pots pre-flop after raising from the button twice before the first flop of the final table was dealt on hand three.
It was a pretty uneventful hand though, with John Juanda limping from the small blind and Richard Yong checking his option in the big blind. Juanda checked the [tqh7d8s] flop over to Yong who took a stab for 50,000, which Juanda called.
The turn saw both players check and Juanda took down the pot with a 170,000 bet after the hit the river.
Loeser re-invested some of his stolen blinds and antes the next hand, opening to 110,000 from the hi-jack with Peter Chan (cutoff) and Chan Wai Leong (big blind) making the call taking the action three-way to a flop of which was checked all around.
Leong took down the pot on the turn with a 190,000 bet with both Loeser and Chan folding.
