Marliere Trims Segers' Chip Stack

Niveau 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Gilles Segers was one of the early chip leaders with over 100,000. He opened from the button to 2,200 and Florian Marliere defended his big blind.

The pair checked the {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop and the turn was the {2-Clubs}. Marliere bet 3,500 and Segers called.

Marliere checked the {5-Clubs} river and Segers bet 7,500. Marliere called.

Segers showed {5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a missed straight draw and rivered pair of fives. Marliere showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a set of twos and took down the pot.

Unibet Poker Ambassador Lappin Eliminated

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Catching up on the action on a {5-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} board, Unibet Poker Ambassador David Lappin had checked to Michael Zielinski who bet 4,500 into a pot of around 10,000.

Lappin check-raised all in for 30,500 and Zielinski tanked.

"What do you have and I'll tell you what to do," said Lappin eventually.

"I have no doubt," came the reply from Zielinski.

Eventually Zielinski called. Lappin showed {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for an open-ended straight flush draw. Zielinski showed {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for an ace-high flush draw.

"Didn't think that was the hand I was getting to fold!" said Lappin as the river {10-Hearts} bricked and Zielinski sent Lappin to the rail.
