Sluis Makes Anton Fold

Maxime Taldir

Niveau 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Dragos Anton raised to 80,000 from the hijack, and Dwayne Sluis defended from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 9♣4♦A♦, and Anton continued with a bet of 50,000. Sluis check-called, then both players checked on the turn 8♥.

The 5♦ came on the river, and Sluis decided to bet 240,000. Anton eventually folded A♥3♦, the best hand, as Sluis was bluffing with Q♦J♥.
