The 32 players remaining after Day 1a are filling their bags with chips. They have qualified for Day 2 and will come back on Saturday.
Stay tuned for a full recap of the day's events including full updated chip counts that will follow shortly.
The tournament director stopped the clock. Three more hands will be played before wrapping up.
Gabriel Gavrila opened to 4,000 from the cutoff, and he was only called by Balazs Kovacs in the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of K♥2♥Q♠. Gavrila continued with a bet of 3,500, and Kovacs check-called. Then Gavrila fired a second barrel of 8,500 on the turn A♣. But Kovacs didn't back down and called.
The 10♥ completed the board, and Kovacs took the lead, betting 20,000. Gavrila went into the tank, but eventually folded.

Joeri Scheerhoorn open-shoved for 19,500 from under the gun, then Teunis Arendse raised all-in from the button with a bigger stack.
Joeri Scheerhoorn: 9♣9♠
Teunis Arendse: A♥Q♦
"I think we are going to flip it" Scheerhoorn said when he flipped his cards. He was right, but things didn't start well for him with a flop of J♦4♠A♠ which brought an ace for Arendse.
"A spade?" asked Scheerhoorn for the turn and he was heard with the J♠ landing on the felt. "What do we want? A spade?" he added. And once again, his dream came true with the 10♠ on the river which gave him a flush to double up.
