Davies Three-Bets The Flop

Niveau 7 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Seth Davies opened under the gun to 6,500 and he was called by Dan Smith on the button and Sean Winter in the big blind.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and action checked to Smith who bet 8,000. Winter then check-raised, making it 20,000. Davies dropped into the tank. He thought for about 25 seconds before three-betting and making it 50,000. Smith folded and Winter flicked his cards into the muck as well.

"You tricked us," Winter said. "You had no hand, then you had a three-betting the flop hand."

Petrangelo Pitches a New Tournament Idea

Niveau 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo and several others at his table are discussing a new event to add to a future high roller stop they are attending.

"$25k, Six-Max, Tag-Team, Case Race," Petrangelo said. "You have to drink 30 beers before you finish the tournament."

"How does the tag team component work?" Isaac Haxton asked. "Do you just have one guy drink and one guy play poker?"

"No you both have to drink 15," Petrangelo said. "I think I would be the favorite in that field. I wouldn't take any of you guys though. I'd take Connor," he said, talking about who we assumed was Connor Drinan.

"Oh with this field?" Haxton asked. "If you could take this field over there, you'd definitely crush 40% ROI."

"In LA I played and I couldn't find anyone to swap with," Petrangelo said. "And I just got blackout drunk because I didn't have to answer to anyone. I got second and it was so liberating."

Players at the table continued to discuss the tournament format as well as drinking exploits as play continued on.
