The biggest Winamax Poker Open in history is down to its last 251 players as the remaining players all join together on Day 2.
There are plenty of stories left be told before the play reaches the money, with Winamax Team Pros, former champions, amateurs and pros all littering the field.
Leading the way is Day 1c chip leader Eric Gahon and here are the big stacks from the each of the Day 1s.

A total of nine Winamax Team Pros are through to Day 2, with Mustapha Kanit the pick of the bunch (558,000) after bagging a healthy stack on Day 1c. Also through is Adrien Delmas (390,500), Davidi Kitai (267,500), former champion Pierre Calamusa (221,000), Joao Vieira (195,500), Guillaume Diaz (175,000), Leo Margets (178,000), Sylvain Loosli (142,000) and Gaelle Baumann (63,000).
With one level less than scheduled being played on each Day 1, the schedule for today is yet to be confirmed. Also yet to be announced is the payout structure which we will get to you as soon as possible at the start of Day 2.
Stay tuned to PokerNews for all the updates here on Day 2 from the City West hotel in Dublin.

It's a great perk of the Day 2 seating draw when everyone is brought together to see who will be drawn against who. With only six seats at each table the chances of any major clashes were minimal, but we were in for a treat.
It may be among the first to break, but Table 37 has not one, not two but three Winamax Team Pros with short-stacked Gaelle Baumann sitting with 10 big blinds up against Davidi Kitai with close to 45 big blinds, as well as Leo Margets with 30 big blinds.
Baumann won the Beer Pong Open earlier in the tournament and will need to play her cards right early if she's going to add the Winamax Poker Open Main Event to her already successful week.

Tournament officials have announced that today they will play at most 17 levels (Level 36) finishing at around midnight.
However, they did admit that they would stop early if they reached 12 players.
There was a scary board reading out in front of Winamax Team Pro Davidi Kitai who came into the day with a big stack of over 250,000.
His opponent Olivier Marchet had bet 45,000 into a pot of around 100,000. Kitai tanked for a short while before calling.
Marchet turned over announcing king-high and a relieved-looking Kitai showed for top pair.

The seating draw has pitched up some oddities today; not just with three Winamax Team Pros on the same table (sadly it's soon to break) but chip leader Eric Gahon and Team Pro Mustapha Kanit on the feature table.
Another quirk is Dutchmen Sander van Wesemael and Werner Lootsma both seated right next to eachother. They shared a sly grin as we noticed their seat draw.
"I know right?" said van Wesemael. "The thing is I knew that I was going to Table 10 before we got here."
"And then he went to the toilet and I looked," said Lootsma. "And realised we were at the same table."
"Fun days!" said van Wesemael.
