Guilbert Shoves Into Voisnis

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

After a raise by Johan Guilbert, Aleksandras Voisnis three-bet to 70,000 out of the big blind and Guilbert called with some 200,000 behind. Voisnis continued for 77,000 on the {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop and Guilbert moved all in, forcing a fold from the Litahuanian. Guilbert flashed the {J-Diamonds} and raked in the pot to build his stack without showdown.

As the second table also finished with the last hand, there will now be a short break to set up the unofficial nine-handed final table.

San

And then it was five casualties from Spain in a row. Anas Tadini raised to 30,000 and called a three-bet to 76,000 by San out of the blinds. On the flop of {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, San continued for 50,000 and Tadini moved all in to receive a quick call by San for fewer than 300,000.

San: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}
Anas Tadini: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The {7-Clubs} turn and {Q-Clubs} river were both blanks and Tadini sent San to the rail in 10th place.

Javier Zarco Eliminated

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Javier Zarco
Javier Zarco

Ludovic Moryousef doubled his short stack with {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} against Javier Zarco's {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} thanks to a board of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades}. Zarco's stack took a hit as a result and he open-shoved soon after from early position. Once the action was on Mathieu Papineau in the big blind, the Frenchman peeked at his cards and called.

Javier Zarco: {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Mathieu Papineau: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

After a board of {K-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{Q-Spades}, the fourth Spanish player in a row was sent to the rail. Zarco, who now calls London his home, had to settle for 11th place and a payday of 53,000 MAD.

Paul No More

Paul
Paul

The third Spanish player in a row to join the rail after dinner was Paul. Within two hands thew satack of the Spaniard vanished, and both time he got it in ahead only to end up second best.

First Mathieu Papineau doubled through him with {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} versus {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} thanks to a board of {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Paul was down to fewer than five big blinds.

Paul then got it in with the {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Papineau looked him up with {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Tadini called out the bad beat by asking for a three after the {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} turn and sure enough the {3-Spades} fell on the river.

Paul could all but shake his head before exiting the tournament area.

Am First Chip Millionaire After Cruel Exit

Cruel

Cruel was all in and at risk with the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} on the flop of {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Rachid Am called with the {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The {9-Hearts} appeared on the turn to improve Am to a flush and Cruel was in need of another nine or queen to avoid elimination. Instead, the {10-Spades} fell on the river and that was it for the Spaniard.
