Welcome to Day 2 of Event #29: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw, where Jared Bleznick leads 86 returners with a big stack of 72,900 to start the day.

A few of the other notables who also bagged up healthy stacks to begin include David Baker (65,100), David Prociak (65,100), and David Pham (64,600).

There were 356 entries in this one to create a $480,600 prize pool. A total of 86 players made it through to Day 2. The top 54 places pay with a min-cash worth $2,243 and $117,282 awaiting the winner.

Today they'll play ten more 60-minute levels with 15-minute breaks every two levels and a dinner break after the sixth level.

Philip Long came into the day with a healthy stack of 52,000, but has just been eliminated. He got his last 6,000 chips in pre-flop against John Bunch.

The pair drew one on the first draw, with Long drawing another on the second draw while Bunch stood pat. Both stood pat on the end.

Long showed a {9-} low, but Bunch had that beat with an eight-perfect {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to send the winner of the $1,500 Eight Game Mix to the rail.

"That's how it goes," said one of his tablemates, "You lose a few big pots in a row and you're out!"

Sardor Gaziev raised on the button. David Bach raised all in for 4,100 from the small blind. Brian Hastings called from the big blind, as did Gaziev.

The three players each drew two. Hastings check-called a bet from Gaziev. Bach drew two again on the second draw, with the other two players drawing one. Again, Hastings check-called a bet.

On the final draw Bach and Gaziev each drew one, while Hastings stood pat. Both players checked.

"Nine," said Gaziev.

"Nine-what?" replied Hastings.

"A really bad nine," said Gaziev. Hastings showed {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-} and that was good enough to take down the side pot. Bach was drawing live with {8-}{5-}{4-}{2-} but he turned over a {q-} and was eliminated just short of the money.

Tate remained pat on the final draw and Kessler slightly improved, drawing just one.

Tate opened an {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Kessler was still alive with a {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Unfortunately, Kessler made an eight which wasn't good enough and fell one spot short of a pay jump.
