Dawley Doubles Up

Niveau 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

The player under the gun opened to 1,400. Action folded to Jessica Dawley on the button who three-bet shoved for 7,500. The original raiser made the call.

Jessica Dawley: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Dawley hit a pretty favorable flop of {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades}. The {k-Clubs} turn and {3-Clubs} river completed the board and Dawley made a full house to take down the pot.

Vieira Survives

Niveau 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

Portuguese pro, Joao Vieira has just survived an all-in situation with the worst of it.

There had already been an open and a three-bet before Vieira got his last 2,900 in on the button. Only one player called the five-big-blind shove, and when the cards were turned over, Vieira saw that he was a long way behind with {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} up against {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts}and Vieira was still looking for a ten. The {4-Diamonds} turn didn't oblige, but the {10-Hearts} river was exactly what he needed. The pot totaled 7,500, which gives him 15 big blinds to play with.
