Ryan Laplante opened to 1,000 in middle position. Marsha Wolak, on the cutoff, three-bet to 3,500. Action folded back to Laplante who moved all in for around 11,000. Wolak snap-called.

For former WSOP Champion, Greg Raymer, the day has gone very well so far. In spite of losing a small pot just now, Raymer has 69,000 in front, which is almost three times the average at the moment.
Raymer had opened to 1,100, was called behind by one player, and then faced a three-bet to of 7,250, to which Raymer folded. This has not made even the tiniest dent on his stack, though.
Valentin Vornicu opened to 1,100 from middle position. The player in hijack called, along with the player on the cutoff. The button three-bet shoved for around 3,000. Vornicu was the only caller.

It's official, Day 1b has had more entries than Day 1a. Not only that, there is also another hour until late registration closes (9:15 p.m.), so that number is expected to rise even further.
