Wong and Sammer Duel for the Lead

Niveau 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Jacky Wong limped in from early position and Harald Sammer bumped it up to 165,000 on the button. The action folded back to Wong who shipped all in for 1,870,000. Sammer thought for a minute and then tossed in a chip to signify a call.

Jacky Wong: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Harald Sammer: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

It was a classic coin flip and the winner would come out as the chip leader. The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Wong paired his king to take the lead.

"I guess this is where I use my one time," Sammer pleaded.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} and the river brought the {9-Clubs} as Sammer was unable to catch back up. Wong got a full double up and moved into the chip lead while Sammer was left with less than two big blinds.
