Niveau 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Sam Weiss
Sam Weiss

Sam Weiss and his opponent went heads up to the {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and the player checked. Weiss bet 10,000 and his opponent called. The turn was the {10-Spades} and the player check called another bet of 10,000 from Weiss.

Goad Makes Quads

Niveau 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

There was a late-position raise of 8,000, Gary Goad then three-bet to 20,500, and the initial raiser moved all in for enough to cover him. Goad made the call for his 40,800 chipstack and the players turned over their hands.

Gary Goad: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The flop came down {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Goad would need to dodge a club. The turn was the {k-Hearts} and he still needed his opponent to miss a club. The river was the {a-Hearts}, giving him quads and more than enough to take down the pot.

Lucky Seven for Alipour-Fard

Niveau 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Mansour Alipour-Fard got his stack of 51,200 all in preflop holding {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} against the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} of his opponent. They saw a flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and the dealer burned and turned the {3-Clubs}.

Alipour-Fard was down to just two outs and would need a lucky seven on the river to stay alive. The {7-Diamonds} hit the river and the table erupted as Alipour-Fard spiked his two-outer to double up.

Chen Makes the Call and Holds

Niveau 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Chin thought for several moments, apologizing to the table for the length of time needed for thought. Chin's final conclusion was to call and that he did.

Moore then tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for a queen-high flush draw and Chin showed {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a pair of sevens with an ace-high flush draw. The board ran out {j-Diamonds} on the turn and the {9-Hearts} landed on the river. Chin's pair of sevens held on for the pot and he is now the tournament chipleader.
