Kate Hoang Eliminated in 2nd Place ($148,150)

Left with crumbs after the earlier fold, Kate Hoang was all in for the third time in a row, this time for 300,000 on the button.

Kate Hoang: {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Julien Martini: {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

The flop came down {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} to give Martini the lead with a pair of tens. The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn swung the lead to Hoang, but the {K-Diamonds} on the river improved Martini to the winner and ended the tournament.

Cheering, Martini walked to the French rail and high fived them one by one, before making his way over to Hoang. He shook her hand and bowed his head in respect for Hoang's tough opposition.

After winning $182,281 in the $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better two years ago, Hoang added another six-figure score to her poker resumé and said her goodbyes in second place.

With his victory, Julien Martini became the 18th French bracelet winner in WSOP history. He added $239,771 to his lifetime winnings, by far the biggest score of his career. The winner's photo and an extensive recap of the tournament will follow shortly.

Within 30 levels of one hour each, the field of 911 entries in the 2018 World Series of Poker Event #4: $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better has been whittled down to the final four and an extra day was added in order to determine a champion. The lion's share of the $1,229,850 prize pool is still up for grabs with $74,058 guaranteed to each of the final four finalists, however, all eyes are set on the coveted gold bracelet, the top prize of $239,771 and the bragging rights that come along with it.

Among the last 16 players in the field were 15 Americans, but it is France's Julien Martini that will enter the final day of the tournament with the chip lead. Railed by Taiwan's James Chen, Martini vaulted himself to the top of the counts in the last levels of Day 3 and will return with a stack of 3,720,000, good enough for just shy of 19 full big bets.

In second place is Kate Hoang with 2,255,000 and a big gap follows with the short stacks William Kopp (440,000) and Mack Lee (425,000) both holding just over two full big bets when the action resumes at 2 p.m. local time on the feature table in the Brasilia room. The blinds for level 31 will be 50,000/100,000 with a big bet of 200,000 and the action will be streamed on the Poker Central Twitch channel.
