Elezra and Simao Trade Another Big Pot

Niveau 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Eli Elezra and Joao Simao each had 16,000 in front of them. The board was {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Simao put out a bet of 30,000 which Elezra called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Simao led out again, this time making it 80,000. Elezra thought for a bit, then moved all in for 230,000, a covering stack over Simao. Simao thought for a little bit, then finally decided to call.

Joao Simao: {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Eli Elezra: {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Elezra rivered a flush as well as the nut low. Simao had three eights as well as the nut low, but it was not good. He was quartered and forced to send over the chips to Elezra again.

Joao Simao raised to 13,000 from middle position, Eli Elezra three-bet the pot to 44,000 from the small blind, and Simao called.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Elezra bet 30,000, Simao called, and the turn was the {8-Hearts}. Elezra bet, Simao raised, and Elezra's stack of 186,500 ended up in the middle.

Elezra: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Simao: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Elezra was ahead with aces against Simao's jacks and held up through the {10-Clubs} river to give him the double.

Elezra, though, stood up immediately from the table and left. Tablemates Rep Porter and David "ODB" Baker called him back to tell Elezra that he doubled, although Elezra said he knew, and was just getting up to throw things out.

"I knew that I won against his piece of sh*t hand," said Elezra.

Jason Berilgen opened with a raise to 115,000 from middle position and action folded around to Jason Gooch in the big blind who called.

The flop was {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {9-Diamonds} on the turn. There, Gooch led out with a bet of 16,500 and Berilgen called.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and both players decided to check. Gooch showed down his {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and with his three nines and ace kicker, Gooch was able to take down the pot.

Gamble Continues to Build Back

Niveau 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

There was a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs} out on the board and Nathan Gamble checked over to Phil Galfond who put out a bet of 16,000. Action was back on Gamble and he check-raised making it 68,000. Galfond thought it over for a while before he called.

The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Gamble moved all in. Galfond quickly called.

Nathan Gamble: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Phil Galfond: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Gamble had nut-nut but Galfond also had the nut low so he would get a portion of the pot. After all the bets, Gamble was all in for 167,500 so Galfond was forced to send over 83,500 to Gamble for the final number.
