Hall Peels What He Needs

Niveau 3 : 50/100, 150 ante
Galen Hall (as seen in a previous event)
Galen Hall (as seen in a previous event)

Galen Hall raised under the gun, Darren Elias three-bet to 1,800, and the player in the big blind called. Hall, however, countered with a four-bet shove of his 7,650 stack. Elias reshoved and the other player left the contest.

Hall discarded one and showed that it was a ten. Elias patted and opened {10-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Hall turned up {8-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. He slowly peeled his new card, needing a three, six, seven or a nine to stay on his first bullet. Hall rolled over the {3-Clubs} to finish with the nut eight. That huge double propelled Hall to more than 17,000 while Elias dropped to around 2,300.

Bronshtein Shows a Pair

Niveau 3 : 50/100, 150 ante

Yuval Bronshtein opened from early position and Raaid Ahmad pumped the price to what looked like 1,500. Bronshtein called and both players drew one card. Bronshtein then front-shoved for about 7,000 or so and Ahmad seemed to be tempted to call. However, he eventually laid his hand down.

Bronshtein was about to slide his hand into the muck and then he opened two of his cards, showing {3-}{3-}. Ahmad regretted that he couldn't pull off the call, but he took the beat with a laugh.

Porter Scoops a Decent One

Niveau 2 : 50/75, 125 ante

Facing a raise to 250 and three calls, Rep Porter squeezed to 1,500 from the big blind. He found one customer in a player in the cutoff.

Porter patted and his opponent drew one. No bets were made on the final round and Porter tabled {10-}{9-}{7-}{4-}{2-}, prompting a big sigh from the other side of the table. He claimed the pot and improved to around 14,000.

Bronshtein Drawing Dead

Niveau 2 : 50/75, 125 ante

Following an under the gun raise to 300 and a three-bet to 1,100 from Raaid Ahmad, Yuval Bronshtein jammed for about 13,000 out of the small blind. The opener called off for his 5,475 and Ahmad, who appeared to have had Bronshtein slightly covered, shook his head and folded.

Bronshtein peeled one and when his rival patted, he opened {8-}{6-}{3-}{2-}. He found out that he was up against {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} and the draw didn't matter. Bronshtein already knew he was drawing dead and his stack dropped to roughly 7,600.

Henson Folds the Winner in Four-Bet Pot

Niveau 2 : 50/75, 125 ante

With action picked up after draw, there was over 6,500 in the middle of the table. According to the players at the table, Ray Henson had opened, and the player to his right squeezed after a series of calls. Henson countered with a four-bet and received a call.

After the patted draw, Henson faced a 2,000-bet from his opponent. He took his time and then folded. Then he asked his opponent whether he'd show him his hand if Henson told him what he'd folded. He obliged and Henson announced a nine-six. Much to his frustration, his opponent rolled over {10-}{9-}{x-}{x-}{x-} and Henson learned that he'd laid down the best hand.
