After Pierluigi Scattarelli raised to 29,000, the player in the next seat over three-bet all in, and action folded back around to Scattarelli who asked for a count. The dealer counted and confirmed a total of 164,000 and Scattarelli made the call.

All-in Player: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Pierluigi Scattarelli: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, which sent the sizable pot to Scattarelli, increasing his already sizable chipstack, and eliminated his opponent.

Sumner Gives PokerNews A Sneak Peek

Niveau 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The player under the gun raised to 21,000 and action folded around to a player in middle position who re-raised to 60,000. Action then folded to Jack Sumner in the small blind who asked the dealer how much the raise was. After he got the correct amount Sumner announced "raise", threw out his 60,000 for the call and pushed out an additional 195,000. The big blind and initial raiser folded and action was back on the player in middle position. He asked for the floor to come to the table to see if Sumner made a legal raise and after consulting with other players around the table, the decision was made, the raise was legal and Sumner's opponent folded. Sumner then gave PokerNews a sneak peek before folding {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

Niveau 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

A player from early position raised to 17,000 and sitting directly to his left was Andrew Lichtenberger who called. Action folded around to the small blind player who shoved all in for 57,000, Lichtenberger called.

Andrew Lichtenberger: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Opponent: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The flop was no help to Lichtenberger as it came {3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

The {6-Spades} on the turn gave Lichtenberger the nut flush draw. Lichtenberger needed any ace, jack or spade to win the hand heading to the river.

Lichtenbergerdid get there as the dealer then put the {a-Hearts} on the river and he eliminated his opponent.

The flop of {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} was checked to Jeong who bet 25,000, his opponent called.

Action was checked to Jeong again after the {5-Spades} fell on the turn and Jeong bet 85,000, his opponent called.

Both players checked the {a-Clubs} on the river and Jeong tabled {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for the winner.

Field Felted

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The action is picked up on a board reading {j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Bridgette Field is all in for her remaining 80,000 on the button after Simon Samokovski had checked over to her from early position. He took about a minute to think before finally making the call.

Bridgette Field: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Simon Samokovksi: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Samokovski had flopped middle pair, but Field had an open-ended straight draw with two overcards and needed to improve to stay alive in the tournament. Unfortunately the {j-Spades} turn and {2-Diamonds} river were not any of the outs she needed and she was eliminated late on Day 1.

Uzunov Gets A Lucky Lady

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ivan Uzunov opened with a min-raise to 12,000 from late position, the player from the cutoff called. Action was on the button and the player raised to 47,000. Both of the blinds folded and action came back to Uzunov who shoved for 155,000 and was called by the button player.

Ivan Uzunov: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Uzunov needed to pair one of his overs but that didn't happen on the {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop.

The turn put two-pair on the board with the {5-Clubs} and Uzunov needed to hit the river to win.

The river indeed came the {q-Diamonds} and Uzunov doubled up.
