David Benyamine raised first to act and was called by Sampo Ryynanen in the blinds. Ryynanen check-called a bet on the flop, but quickly folded to a second bet on the turn.
One table over, Shirley Rosario three-bet in the small blind and Richard Bai in late position made the call. Rosario immediately bet the flop and that was all it took to force a fold from Bai.
On the three-way turn of , Matthew Schreiber checked in the small blind and Jen Harman bet from the big blind, which Andrew Yeh called. The river was checked and Schreiber tabled for the nut low and a pair. Harman flashed the for top pair, but mucked her remaining cards as soon as Yeh had shown for a pair of kings with ace kicker.
Soon after, still in Omaha Hi-Lo, Daniel Ospina rivered a full house with on a board of and got value from big stack Noah Bronstein to chip up some.
In a Razz hand, Tony Cousineau was involved in a bigger pot against table neighbor James Obst and ended up tabling for a neighty-eight. Obst had that beat with and scooped the pot to leave Cousineau short in chips.
"Seat open on 425," the announcement came and Frank Kassela walked out towards the tournament area. A quick chat with Richard Sklar followed and Kassela said "I think the first one out is actually an achievement" before heading out of the Amazon room.

Chris Hunichen raised the button and Jared Bleznick three-bet out of the small blind. Brian Hastings made it four bets from the big blind and both called. The flop came and Bleznick was the only one to check-call a bet by Hastings before check-folding the turn.
All three remain well below the starting stack and Hastings has the most chips of the trio right now.

In three-way action, Mikael Gronvik bet fifth to seventh and faced resistance by Todd Brunson and a third player. Only Brunson reluctantly called the final bet and Gronvk rolled over the for ace-high and no low. Brunson had for aces and fives, and scooped the entire pot against no qualifying low.
Anthony Zinno was already short-stacked heading into the latest hand and lost that one too to get into the danger zone. One bet each went in after the turn with Kyle Montgomery also involved and the river was checked. Zinno in the blinds was first to show and revealed , which Montgomery had beat with for trips deuces.
