Melancon Showered, Hoeppner Wins Multi-Way Pot With Wheel
Joseph Melancon committed his final 1,000 chips from under the gun, letting the entire table know he was all in. James Hoeppner limped from the hijack and John Seiter limped behind him in the cutoff. Carol Fuchs was on the button and put in a raise, which both Hoeppner and Seiter called. Melancon stood pat before Hoeppner, Seiter, and Fuchs all drew two cards. Action for the side pot then saw Hoeppner check, Seiter bet, and both Fuchs and Hoeppner call.
Second draws went pat, two, one, one and Hoeppner checked to Seiter, who again bet. Fuchs folded and Hoeppner put in a check-raise. Seiter made the call. On the final draw, Melancon drew two after standing pat during the previous two draws. "Miracle, please!" he pleaded to the dealer. Both Hoeppner and Seiter stood pat and Hoeppner bet out on the end, prompting Seiter to call. All three players then tabled their hands at showdown.

Melancon drew to a pair of threes and his cry for a miracle was not answered as Hoeppner raked in the pot with a wheel.
