Maes Collects With Top Pair

Niveau 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Bart Maes had a decision to make with a board that read {k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. His opponent had moved all in, which was enough to cover Maes.
After a few moments Maes decided to call and he was was happy to see that it was the right call as he was ahead with the {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs} against the big draw {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} of his opponent.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river came the {3-Spades} to keep Maes's kings in the lead.

Parker Picks Off River Bluff

Niveau 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Antonio Barbato raised from under-the-gun to 600 and got three callers, including three-time WSOP bracelet winner Brock Parker on the button. Barbato continued for 1,300 on the {k-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, and Parker was the only caller.

After both players checked the {2-Hearts} turn, and Barbato again checked the {a-Clubs} river, Parker put out a bet of 1,600, only to be check-raised to 5,200 by Barbato. Parker thought for a moment and then tossed in calling chips. Barbato tabled {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, but it was no good against Parker's {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for the rivered top pair.
