Another Double Through LaValley

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Al Stonum opened to 40,000 and George LaValley three-bet to 80,000. Stonum then four-bet all in for 252,000 and LaValley called.

Al Stonum: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
George LaValley: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

LaValley slammed the table in apparent frustration as the board came {3-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} leaving him dead on the turn as Stonum rivered a house to double up.

Barbour Triples Up

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

One player opened and Leonard Yates three-bet to 100,000. Warren Barbour moved all in for 129,000 and both opponents called.

The pair checked down a {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts} board. The first player opened {k-Spades}{10-Spades}.

"I missed," said Yates showing {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Barbour took down the pot with {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

Wilson Eliminated Early on Day 3

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Bryant Lipscomb raised to 35,000 from middle position and Dennis Munro made the call from the next seat over. When action folded around to Karle Wilson on the button he shoved all in. Markie Gardner was already all in from his big blind, so when action folded back around to Lipscomb he asked for a count. The dealer confirmed 135,000 total, and after some thought Lipscomb folded, but Munro made the call and created a side pot that was bigger than the main pot.

Markie Gardner: {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Karle Wilson: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Dennis Munro: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}, which sent both pots to Wilson and eliminated Gardner from the tournament early on Day 3.

Hoelzle Doubles Through Volpe

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

John Volpe opened the button and called a shove from Melvin Hoelzle for somewhere in the region of 100,000.

John Volpe: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Melvin Hoelzle: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The flop {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} gave no help to Hoelzle. The turn {6-Hearts} gave him a flush draw and the river {7-Hearts} completed that flush draw as he doubled to over 200,000.

Beres Doubles Up

Niveau 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Phillip Beres was all in for 178,000 with {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} against the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} of George LaValley.

There was an eight on the {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop and although the {j-Clubs} opened the door to a gutshot for LaValley which would have eliminated Beres, the river {4-Diamonds} slammed it shut and Beres doubled up.
