George Rechnitzer was all in after getting in a three-bet pot preflop with Michael Thompson, leaving himself 10,000 behind that he put in on the flop.

The board runout was and Thompson's straight was good to take down the pot and send Rechnitzer to the rail for the last hour of play in the hopes his son can find a bag and advance to Day 3.
Emmy Xue was all in from the cutoff with Denis Strebkov and Gerard Rechnitzer competing for the side pot. The board read and Strebkov bet on the river and received a call from Rechnitzer.

Michael Thompson limped from early position and Shaun Deeb limped behind him from middle position. Action folded around to Denis Strebkov in the small blind, who completed. Matt Vengrin checked his option and the flop came . Strebkov checked, Vengrin bet, Thompson and Deeb folded, and Strebkov made the call.
Heads-up action saw a turn of and both players checked. The river came and Strebkov bet. Vengrin thought for a few moments before tossing in chips to all.
Strebkov tabled for a flush and Vengrin tossed his cards into the muck.
In a battle of short stacks, Kirk Oshiro was forced all in on the turn as the board read .
He turned over and was up against the of Carlos Rodriguez who barely had him covered.
A few players at the table deduced that Rodriguez would need a three to scoop the whole pot and eliminate Oshiro and sure enough no sooner had the words been spoken, the hit the river to end Oshiro's tournament in 16th place.

Coombs was first to act on fourth with a pair of aces and bet. Strebkov called, Thompson folded, and Deeb and Ratigan both called.
Action checked to Ratigan on fifth and he bet. Coombs called, Strebkov folded, and Deeb called.
On sixth, action checked to Ratigan again who bet. Coombs called and Deeb raised. Ratigan three-bet, Coombs folded, and Deeb called.
The river was heads up between Ratigan and Deeb and went check-check.
Ratigan tabled for a straight and a low and scooped the pot to add a massive amount of chips to his stack.
Vengrin was all in before seventh street with revealed, needing help. He squeezed his last card which was a useless and unable to beat the trip jacks of Coombs. He put his head down in frustration and bent the card in half before tossing it in the air,
"Card Down" said Shaun Deeb at the table, as Vengrin walked away with his tournament over in 14th place.
