Grande Doubles Through Feldman

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Joel Feldman called for 100,000, and Francesco Grande got his last 350,000 into the middle from the small blind, which Feldman called.

Feldman: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Grande: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Board: {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Feldman was ahead preflop and kept his lead on the flop before Grande hit a pair on the turn. The river sealed Grande's double up holding trips, and he moved up to 900,000.

Dudley Slipping Down the Leaderboard

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Dash Dudley had been first or second in chips for quite some time, but he has been overtaken by Daniel Alaei after he "lost five in a row" according to Nick Guagenti on the rail. The first three were smaller pots, the fourth one a middle-sized pot when Kyle Montgomey turned a flush.

A four-way limped pot then led to the {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. Action checked to Dudley on the button and he bet 225,000, Andjelko Andrejevic folded in the small blind, Daniel Alaei called in the big blind and Montgomery in the cutoff also folded.

The {a-Diamonds} turn was checked and Alaei bet the {4-Spades} river for 500,000, Dudley reluctantly folded.

Ausmus Bounces Back

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Eoghan O'Dea raised to 250,000 first to act and picked up a call by Jeremy Ausmus in the big blind. On the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Ausmus checked and called a bet of 200,000 before doing so again for 550,000 on the {9-Spades} turn.

The {2-Clubs} on the river was checked and Ausmus announced a ten-high for two pair, turned over {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. That was good enough to win the pot, as O'Dea sent his cards into the muck.

Andrejevic and Grande Double

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Francesco Grande
Francesco Grande

The board was already completed and Andjelko Andrejevic had most of his chips invested, then faced a bet of 300,000 by Andrey Razov on the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} river. Andrejevic vaulted out of his chair to see if there was a showdown on the other table and called all in for 220,000.

Razov turned over the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for two pair and Andrejevic had that beat with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

Over on the other table and one minute later, Eoghan O'Dea raised the button for 300,000 and Francesco Grande moved all in for 335,000 in the big blind, O'Dea called.

Francesco Grande: {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Eoghan O'Dea: {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

O'Dea flopped best on {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}, but Grande hit the {3-Clubs} turn and {a-Diamonds} river hard to improve to a full house.

Park vs. Ausmus

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

The flop was down {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}, and James Park bet 225,000 from the small blind. Jeremy Ausmus made the call from the big blind, and they saw the {9-Diamonds} hit the turn.

Park continued for 600,000 and Ausmus called.

The river card fell the {9-Spades}, and after 30 seconds of thought, Park carved out a 900,000 bet from his stack.

Ausmus needed less time to make his decision and instantly folded, leaving Park to pick up the sizeable pot without a showdown.

No Showdown in Sight

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

In a battle of the blinds, a pot of more than 1,100,000 emerged to the {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} river and Dash Dudley bet the pot to give Andjelko Andrejevic all but two options: Surrender and have fewer than eight big blinds behind or call and possibly bust in 11th place. Andrejevic gave it some consideration and folded.

One hand later, Kyle Montgomery opened to 250,000 and Daniel Alaei called in the big blind. The flop brought {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} and Alaei check-folded to a bet worth 300,000.

O'Dea Takes From Park

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Kyle Montgomery got some chips back when he raised the pot pre at the end of the last level and picked up a call by Will Jaffe, who then check-folded the {q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop to a continuation bet.

Over on the other table, James Park raised the button and Eoghan O'Dea called in the big blind. O'Dea check-called a bet of 200,000 and they checked the {k-Clubs} turn. The {5-Diamonds} river paired the board for the second time and O'Dea now led for 250,000. Park engaged in some table chat and called.

O'Dea rolled over the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a flush and that won the pot.

Park Hits a Straight

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

The flop was down {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}, and Francesco Grande check-called a 100,000 bet from James Park.

Both players checked after the {9-Clubs} hit the turn, and when the river card appeared the {5-Diamonds}, Grande bet pot for 305,000.

Park flicked in the calling chip without much hesitation and saw Grande reveal {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for trips. But Park announced 'straight' and showed {j-}{10-}{9-}{x-} to steal the pot and leave Grande short.
