Per Hildebrand was down to 17,000 at the start of the hand and ended up all in heads-up against defending champion Calvin Anderson. Hildebrand paired his eight on sixth and his jack on seventh to nearly leave his chair, however, Anderson also had two pair until sixth with aces and sixes to pair his seven on the final card, too.

Negreanu bet on fourth with the on-board lead, Chidwick called and Obst called.

Obst took the on-board lead on fifth and bet, with only Negreanu tagging along.

Obst check-called a bet from Negreanu on sixth before check-raising Negreanu's bet on seventh. Negreanu mulled it over briefly before he called.

Obst tabled {4-}{5-}{6-} for a six-five-four, but Negreanu showed {2-}{3-}{9-} for a six-five-pefect to win the pot.

Yingui Li bet fourth and fifth with a sixty-five draw showing and Thai Ha called when he picked up a seven. Li then received a nine on sixth and Ha bet, Li called. There was no betting action on seventh and Ha rolled over {10-}{8-}{4-} for a seventy-six and that won the pot.

"Wow, the first Razz hand I win," Ha joked in table chat. Both Ha and Li are up for the day, having entered before the cards went in the air.

Steven Wolansky was all in by fifth street and sidepot action between Dan Zack and David Bach was checked down after that.

Zack showed {7-}{8-}{10-} for a ten-eight-seven, Bach showed {a-}{8-}{q-} for a ten-eight-five and Wolansky couldn't beat Bach with {2-}{4-}{10-} for a queen-ten.
