Steven Sarmiento raised to 16,000 from the button and small blind Joao Vieira three-bet to 62,000. Dan Shak folded in the big blind and Sarmiento called the three-bet after he asked how much Vieira had behind.

The flop fell {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Vieira continued with a bet of 45,000. That was enough to make Sarmiento fold and pick up the pot.

Straight Flush for Theologis

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Alexandros Theologis limped for 8,000 from the hijack and saw Michael Gentili, Olivier Busquet, and Stoyan Obreshkov also call.

The action checked through the {8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, and the turn revealed the {5-Clubs}. Gentilli bet 20,000 and saw both Obreshkov and Theologis call before the {3-Spades} hit the river.

Obreshkov tabled {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} for two pair, but Theologis revealed {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the straight flush and took the pot after Gentili mucked.

Theologis Triples

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Alexandros Theologis was all in and at risk of elimination when he had his last 53,000 in the middle. He was called by Olivier Busquet and Pierre Calamusa.

The flop fell {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Busquet and Calamusa checked. They checked it out on the {4-Diamonds} turn and {3-Clubs} river and Theologis announced ''king high'' with a little bit of doubt in his voice.

It turned out to be the best hand when Busquet showed {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Calamusa showed {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Theologis opened up {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to take down the important pot for the triple up.

Lowe vs. Kamel

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tamer Kamel bet 120,000 into a 200,000 pot from the hijack with the completed board down {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Kamel's opponent was Richard Lowe, and he decided to move all in for 500,000.

Kamel was sat with 220,000 behind and went into the tank.

Kamel was thinking out loud for close to a minute before he conceded the pot, and Lowe revealed {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

"I'm glad you showed that," said Kamal.

"I was so close to calling you with ace-jack, I would have been so tilted" he added as Lowe drew in the pot.

Torrecillas Doubles Through McCorkell

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Craig McCorkell limped from the cutoff and the player on the button got out of the way. Small blind Francisco Torrecillas put his last 62,000 in the middle and the player in the big blind tanked for a bit before he let go of his hand. McCorkell quickly called and they turned their hands on their backs.

McCorkell had {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and he was flipping against the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} of Torrecillas. The Brit asked the player in the big blind if he folded an ace and the answer was no.

The {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop was still good for McCorkell and so was the {k-Clubs} on the turn. The {a-Clubs} on the river, however, awarded the pot to Torrecillas who secured a much needed double up. McCorkell is now left with about ten big blinds.
