Welcome to Day 3 of Event #78: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty, where 42 players will return to continue their bounty-hunting quest for the WSOP gold bracelet.

Leading the way with 2,148,000 in chips is Kazuhiko Yotsushika, but he's followed close behind by Joao Simao (1,855,000), Joseph Liberta (1,371,000), Jesse Sylvia (1,119,000) and Toby Lewis (1,062,000), all of whom have plenty of PLO experience and will also be hoping for their first bracelet this World Series.

Other notables in the field on Day 3 include Jeff Lisandro (488,000) and Daniel Negreanu (120,000) , who are both in contention for their 7th WSOP gold bracelet, and Bryce Yockey (1,003,000) and Kevin Eyster (189,000).

Play will resume at noon local time and will restart at level 21 with blinds of 8,000 and 16,000. There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels, a 60-minute dinner break after level 26 (approximately 6:30 p.m.) and play is scheduled to continue is a champion is determined.

The 42 returning players may have $3,553 locked up, but their endgame is the WSOP gold bracelet and $177,823 as the top prize.

The flop fell {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Spades} and Negreanu shipped his remaining 90,000 in the middle and was called.

Strebkov Takes First Hand

In the first hand of play at table #489 action folded around to Joseph Liberta on the button. After looking around the dealer and noticing that the small-blind player, Heng Zhang, hadn't taken his seat yet, Liberta raised it up to 30,000.

Denis Strebkov defended his big blind and led out with a bet of 43,000 on the {4-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop, which was enough to take down the pot.

Stockfish Doubles Early on Day 3

After the under-the-gun player and Lance Howard both limped in from early position, Jason Stockfish made it 85,000 to go and Howard came along.

Howard led out for 72,000 on the {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop and Stockfish made the call. On the {9-Spades} turn Howard continued his aggression with a pot-sized bet that was enough to put Stockfish all in if he made the call, which he did.

Chiu Takes Some From Tuhrim

Action folded around to Yik Chiu on the button and he called. The small-blind player called and after Richard Tuhrim checked his option from the big blind, they went three-handed to the flop.

After both the small-blind player and Tuhrim checked over to Chiu he put out a bet of 32,000, and only Tuhrim made the call. Both players then checked the {8-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river, and Chiu took down the pot after he tabled {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for two pair.
