Dinner Time!

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The players have been sent on their 75-minute dinner break. When they return at approximately 6:55 p.m. local time Day 1c registration will be closed.

Same Hand, Sort of

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a headsup pot with 28,000 in the middle on a board of {2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} John Gordon checked and Justin Tseng moved on all in from the next seat over, which sent Gordon into the tank.

After over a minute Gordon made the call and the players tabled their hands.

Justin Tseng: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
John Gordon: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned the {5-Hearts} river, which changed nothing and the two players chopped the pot.

Finger in a Tough Spot

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Martin Finger and Kato Masa were in a hand with {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} down and Masa, who was first to act, bet 10,000. Finger called and they saw a {7-Diamonds} come on the turn. Masa bet bigger this time, for his all in, which was enough to cover Finger and the German went into the tank for two minutes before letting it go.

Tom Wins Four-Way Pot

Niveau 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Action picked up on the turn in a four-way pot on a board reading {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and about 55,000 in the middle. Philip Tom checked from his big blind, the two middle-position players checked and Brad Garrett, in the cutoff, thought for a moment before he decided to check as well.

Tom led out for 20,000 on the {8-Spades} river and got quick folds from the middle-position players. However, Garrett gave it some thought, and even re-checked his hole cards before he sent them to the muck.

Fisher Jacks Up His Stack

Niveau 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

A middle position player raised it to 3,200 and the player in the next seat over moved all in. When action folded around to Bradd Fisher in the big blind he four-bet shoved, which got a fold from the original raiser.

Bradd Fisher: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
All-In Player: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, which was good for Fisher, but not so good for the all-in player who was eliminated.

Seymour Scores Double Knockout

Richard Seymour From a Previous Event
Richard Seymour From a Previous Event

Action picked up on the flop of {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Jeremy Koehler had already moved his last few chips into the middle. Pierre Neuville moved all in behind and Richard Seymour, who had both players easily covered, made the call.

Jeremy Koehler: {8-Spades}{3-Spades}
Pierre Neuville: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Richard Seymour: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {9-Clubs} turn and {4-Spades} river were of no help to Neuville and Koehler and Seymour scored the double knockout. Koehler seemed to take the bustout in stride and asked to take a picture with Seymour who obliged.
