Discipline is Key at the Main Event

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

On a board that read {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} Petar Kalev bet 3,200 and was called by Aaron Pinson. The river came the {4-Diamonds}. Kalev slowed down and checked and Pinson replied with a bet of 5,000. Kalev studied the bet and Pinson for a while before a smile came over his face and he folded.

"Show me the bluff" said Kalev.

"This is the Main Event, you gotta stay disciplined man" replied Pinson with a smile as he pulled in the pot.

The action was picked up on the river of the {j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs} board where Dan Oren fired 13,500 into about 18,000 pot. Oren's neighbor Abraham Faroni tanked for a while, but then he decided to let his hand go and Oren scooped the juicy pot without showing his hole cards.

Saliba Slows Down on the River

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

The {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts} board was already on the table and there was 1,800 in the pot. The player in the big blind checked and so did Scott Israel from middle position. 888 Poker Ambassador Vivian Saliba sat in the hijack and she bet 700. She was called by Israel when the player in the big blind got out of the way.

The river was the {2-Hearts} and there were two pairs on the board now. Israel checked and Saliba checked behind on this street. Israel showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and that was enough to make Saliba muck her hand.

Sullivan Wastes No Time

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Mark Sullivan is out of the starting blocks after repping big in a hand just now. He and three players were in on the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and after one check, Sullivan bet 3,000. Only the two players last to act called and the three of them headed to a {7-Diamonds} turn. Sullivan lead for 10,000 this time and neither of his opponents wanted to stick around any longer, leaving Sullivan to scoop it up.
