The 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event continues today as the survivors from both Days 1a and 1b combine into one field. That means 2,838 players will return to action today.
The first two Day 1 flights of this year's WSOP Main Event produced the current chip leader overall, Bryan Campanello, despite Day 1c having more players in a single day than any other Main Event day in history and Days 1a and 1b combined. He has some elite competition chasing him down, however, as we can see from the collated chip counts.

Cards will be in the air at 11 a.m. local time with the plan of playing five more 120-minute levels. There will be a 20-minute break after every level for players to clear their heads.
New this year is late registration, which is open until the starts of Day 2ab and Day 2c. Therefore, it could very well be that those anticipating 15-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth's great entrance could see it today or tomorrow. Hellmuth darted off to Machu Picchu during the height of summer, and given his preference for late starts, he'll likely be among those opting for the latest of registrations.
