Hossein Ensan a terminé le Jour 7 et le Jour 8 en tête, il aura largement le dessus à l'entame du Jour 10, le Final Day. L'Allemand vainqueur EPT a augmenté son tapis de 50% la nuit dernière pour emballer 326,8 millions soit 163 blindes à la reprise... et plus que ces deux adversaires combinés. Ensan a notamment éliminé Kevin Maahs sur un flip avec les

Ensan domine les débats depuis 3 jours, l'Allemand a hâte de disputer le sprint final : "Je dois me préparer pour demain. Nous sommes encore trois et je vais continuer à jouer mon jeu. Je respecte tout le monde mais c'est moi qui ai les jetons. Quand je perds un pot, je n'aime pas cela mais évidemment cela peut arriver".
"Les deux (sont dangereux). J'ai plus de jetons qu'eux et c'est un gros avantage. Jouer deep c'est plus facile que short stack. Dario est un grand nom du poker, c'est certain, Alex a lui très bien joué. Nous sommes encore trois et tout peut arriver. Garry (Gates) avait débuté deuxième tapis et il est désormais dans le rail. Au poker, tout peut arriver", insiste le patron du tournoi.
Déjà 13e du Main Event en 2013, Livingston s'est assuré 4 millions de dollars pour ce nouveau deep-run. Il a remporté de nombreux pots lors du Jour 9. "Quand je joue, j'ai la confiance. J'ai toujours voulu être là sur la plus grosse scène du monde du poker. Je joue moins qu'avant en No Limit à cause de la lenteur du jeu et de la prolifération des casques de musique... Mais le Main Event c'est excitant. Il y a une tonne d'amateurs et aussi des pros très forts. Cela me rappelle les vieux jours où je faisais du cash-game, il fallait regarder les gens et développer ses reads... C'est ce qui me plaît", a indiqué le Canadien, récompensé de sa lecture sur un gros coup contre Garry Gates.

"Etre au dernier jour du Main Event c'est super cool. Le chipcount ? J'ai une tonne de blindes pour jouer mon jeu. Je ne me soucie pas des jetons de Hossein. Il a une tonne, c'est bien pour lui mais la journée s'annonce très longue car nous sommes encore tous avec une certaine profondeur. Le Jour 9 s'est évidemment passé à merveille, mieux que je l'espérais", a terminé l'ultime nord-américain en lice du Big One.
