William Romaine had a bet out of 1.1 million from under the gun on the river with a board of , effectively putting his opponent from the big blind, Dmitry Yurasov all in for his last 840,000 or so. Yurasov went into the tank, studying Romaine, who was on his direct left, with great intent. After over four minutes, somebody at the table called the clock on him.
The floorman came over and informed Yurasov of the rules and started the timer. Thirty seconds later, time was expiring and Yurasov mucked his hand, marking the second time Romaine has won a big pot on the river by way of his opponent making a big fold as time expired and he now sits with a stack of over five million chips in front of him.

Four players went to a flop of and a flurry of action broke out. Hiroki Nawa checked from the big blind and David Guay checked in early position. Sergei Petrushevskii tossed in a bet of 160,000 in middle position only to have Jacek Ladny raise to 425,000 in the cutoff.
Nawa check-raised to 900,000 which left Guay in the tank for two minutes. He eventually folded as did Petrushevskii after some thought as well. Ladny stuck in the last of his 1,000,000 and Nawa quickly called.
Hiroki Nawa:
Jacek Ladny:
Both players flopped a set in what was a cooler flop. The on the turn and the on the river didn't change the situation and Ladny was eliminated. Guay mentioned after the hand that he folded and would have scooped everything.
