Niveau 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

The turn was the {3-Hearts}, Parkes checked again and Hwang barreled a bet of 385,000 over the line. Parkes called to see the {a-Diamonds} complete the board. Parkes checked for the last time, Hwang fired 1,250,000 into the pot and Parkes threw in some chips for a raise which made Hwang snap-fold.

Mostafa Ashkarkhizani
Mostafa Ashkarkhizani

Mostafa Ashkarkhizani was down to less than one million chips and he moved all in for 950,000 in the hijack. Oliver Bithell quickly called from the big blind and the cards were on their backs.

Oliver Bithell: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Mostafa Ashkarkhizani: {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The flop of {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} gave Ashkarkhizani a straight draw to go with his two overcards. However, the {4-Diamonds} and {7-Hearts} runout was not what he was looking for Ashkarkhizani headed to the payout desk.

Jaysun Petruce

Jaysun Petruce opened to 215,000 from middle position and Martin Huk called from the small blind.

The flop landed {9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Huk checked. Petruce announced he was all in for 1,230,000, and after a slight pause, Huk called.

Huk: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Petruce: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Petruce was at-risk with his gutshot and live ace, but when the {k-Hearts} fell on the turn, Huk took the lead with a straight.

Needing a jack to stay alive, Petruce would see the {3-Clubs} roll off on the river, and he was eliminated in 103rd place for a $59,295 payday.

Wendlandt Four-Bet Shoves

Niveau 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Henning Wendlandt opened on the button for 160,000, Kevin Maahs called, and Ryan Yu three-bet to 720,000. Wendlandt responded with an all-in shove for just over 3.6 million. Maahs asked for a count then folded, and Yu immediately folded after.

In the aftermath of the hand, Warwick Mirzikinian chided Maahs for asking for a count.

"You're never calling in that spot," he said.

"Never?" Maahs asked.

"Never."

Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen

Jeff Madsen pushed all in for 1,615,000 in early position and Alex Winter re-shoved all in from the hijack. The rest of the table folded and the cards were face up in a classic race situation.

Jeff Madsen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Alex Winter: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The flop of {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} left Winter in the lead with his pair of queens. The {7-Spades} on the turn gave Winter the only flush draw which narrowed Madsen's outs even further. The river was the {a-Spades} which gave Madsen a pair of aces but Winter made his flush to send Madsen home.
