Début juillet 2019 à Las Vegas,Juha Helppi touchait enfin le graal. Le Finlandais avait dominé 117 adversaires pour remporter son premier bracelet WSOP à l'occasion du Limit Championships à 10.000$ l'entrée.
Helppi abandonnait alors sa place sur la liste des "meilleurs joueurs de poker sans victoire aux World Series Of Poker", il a ajouté une nouvelle breloque sur le Pot Limit Omaha Championship à 5000$ qui s'est déroulé sur GGPoker dans la nuit de mardi à mercredi. Là encore, Helppi a prouvé son talent face aux meilleurs joueurs du monde pour encaisser près de 300.000$.

Le tournoi a rassemblé 328 joueurs qui ont généré un prizepool de 1,58 million de dollars. Disputé en 6-Max, l'événement s'est terminé par une finale à 9 joueurs où se trouvaient quelques champions du jeu. Jens Kyllonen, Alex Difelice ou Mike Watson n'ont rien pu faire, tout comme l'Espagnol Sergi Reixach.
Jens Kyllonen a fait le ménage en début de TF avant que Watson ne prenne le relais pour sortir Reixach (7e). Chipleader lors de la fin de tournoi, Yuri Dzivielevski a vu son deep-run s'arrêter quelques minutes après, éliminé par Kyllonen.
Le Finlandais a pourtant été le suivant dans le rail, sorti par Belarmino De Souza sur une quinte (5e). Après un plan à 4 d'une heure, le Canadien Mike Watson a chuté contre le futur runner-up après un coup excitant. De Souza a call en étant devant au flop, la turn a donné quinte au vainqueur du PokerStars Caribbean Adventures avant que la rivière n'apporte un Full House au Brésilien !
De Souza ne va profiter de son scalp que 5 minutes, éliminé préflop par Helppi avec

As Jesus Cortes hovered around 10 blinds in the new level, he had portion of his chips in to the flop already and that's when Juha Helppi applied the pressure and the following showdown took place.
