"mbgolfer11" Eliminated in 11th Place ($10,860.78)

Niveau 34 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante

Action on the table folded around to "mbgolfer11" who limped in from the small blind and Benjamin "benjahmane" Scrogins checked his big blind to see a {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop.

Both players checked to the {10-Clubs} turn where "mbgolfer11" led out for 138,750 and Scrogins called to see the {4-Hearts} complete the board on the river.

"mbgolfer11" check-jammed for 453,453 after Scrogins fired out 555,000.

"mbgolfer11" showed {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens but it was no good as Scrogins held {j-Spades}{4-Spades} for two-pair.

Nicholas "NickS100888" Seiken Eliminated in 12th Place ($10,860.78)

Niveau 34 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante
Nicholas Seiken
Nicholas Seiken

Jon "havuuuuuc" Turner raised to 108,456 and Nicholas "NickS100888" Seiken three-bet jammed for 807,912 from the small blind. Tuner called and it was off to the races.

Nicholas "NickS100888" Seiken: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Jon "havuuuuuc" Turner: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop gave Turner a set but Seiken had outs as a jack would give him a Broadway straight. Unfortunately for him, neither the {7-Hearts} turn nor {3-Spades} river helped and he was ousted in 12th place.

Katie "azulciel" Stone: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Gifford was ahead and took a huge leap after a queen appeared in the window on the {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop.

The {a-Hearts} turn paired Stone and Choi but it also left them drawing dead as the {8-Clubs} river ended their tournament's in 16th & 17th place for $8,288.49 each.

WSOP Legend: 3-Time Poker Players Championship Winner Michael Mizrachi

Niveau 31 : 14,000/28,000, 3,500 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

The World Series of Poker $50,000 Poker Players Championship (PPC), which was created in 2006, is considered the tournament where the best of the best take on one another and duke it out in a variety of poker games, a reflection of all-around poker skill. Imagine playing the likes of Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, and Daniel Negreanu five days in a row in a short-handed mixed format.

Needless to say, the hefty price tag coupled with a small, elite field created a legacy for the PPC where champions are considered among the greatest overall poker players. A quick glance at its 14-year history shows nothing but greatness among champions, from John Hennigan to Mike Gorodinsky, and with the late David "Chip" Reese as perhaps the event's most fitting inaugural winner back in 2006.

Winning once is the poker professional's dream. Winning two? You're in a league of your own. But winning the toughest event with poker's best three times? Only one man achieved that improbable feat on this day back in 2018, after winning his first two titles in 2010 and 2012: Michael Mizrachi.

2013 WSOP Main Event Champ Eliminated in 60th Place

Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

2013 WSOP Main Event champ Ryan "bitc0in" Riess moved all in for 100,109 from the hijack and Shaun "nyjets23" O'Donnell called from the big blind.

Ryan "bitc0in" Riess: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Shaun "nyjets23" O'Donnell: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

It was a flip and Riess was looking to hold to score the double. The {3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} flop was safe for the former champ, while the {4-Clubs} turn gave O'Donnell a wheel draw.

Unfortunately for Riess, he was run over by that wheel as the {5-Clubs} spiked on the river. Riess had to settle for 60th place and $2,000.67 in prize money.

Katie Stone
Katie Stone

Katie "azulciel" Stone raised to 12,000 from the hijack only to have Phil "Lumestackin" Hellmuth three-bet jam for 72,299 from the button. Both blinds folded and Stone made the call.

Katie "azulciel" Stone: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Phil "Lumestackin" Hellmuth: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

It was a flip but Hellmuth needed to improve to stay alive. That proved easier said than done as the board ran out {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades} to leave Hellmuth hanging against Stone's high fives.

Hellmuth was eliminated in 114th place for $1,429.05.

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Action on the table folded around to Phil "Lumestackin" Hellmuth who raised all in for 56,205 from the cutoff and Bassioni "Abraham5959" Hammouda called for less holding 50,844 from the button.

Phil "Lumestackin" Hellmuth: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Bassioni "Abraham5959" Hammouda: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Hellmuth was racing for his tournament and the {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop gave both players straight draws.

The turn appeared the {9-Hearts} completing Hellmuth's straight while also giving Hammouda top set.

Hammouda needed the board to pair on the river and it did, as the {8-Hearts} appeared giving him a full house but it also gave Hellmuth the straight flush to win the hand.
