DiZenzo Fires Twice

Niveau 9 : 140/280, 35 ante
Dan DiZenzo
Dan DiZenzo

Action on the table folded around to Dan "iGetLost" DiZenzo who raised all in for 6,033 from the small blind and was called by Anthony "boom81boom" Chin from the big blind.

Dan "iGetLost" DiZenzo: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Anthony "boom81boom" Chin: {q-Spades}{6-Spades}

DiZenzo had Chin dominated until the {6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop appeared pairing Chin's six.

The {6-Hearts} turn was a sight for sore eyes for DiZenzo as it left him drawing dead and he re-entered the tournament after the {k-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Event #13 Champ Gets Lucky to Triple Up

Niveau 9 : 140/280, 35 ante
Michael Lech
Michael Lech

Michael “miguelfiesta” Lech, who a week ago won Event #13: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller Freezeout, moved all in for 2,188 under the gun and James "pokercpa" Hoeppner three-bet jammed over the top for 18,845 next to act. Kyle "Kdruck" Draucker then called from the button to put both players at risk.

Kyle "Kdruck" Draucker: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Michael “miguelfiesta” Lech: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
James "pokercpa" Hoeppner: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Lech was dominated but he got lucky when the {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop gave him two pair. The {10-Hearts} turn and {2-Clubs} river were both safe for Lech, who shipped the triple while the other two players chopped the side pot.

Gago Rebuys After Running his Ladies Into Distenfeld's Rockets

Niveau 8 : 120/240, 30 ante

David "d2013" Gago opened with a 960 raise from the button and Gershon "jets613" Distenfeld three-bet to 3,150 from the small blind.

Action folded back to Gago who jammed for 26,275 and Distenfeld called.

David "d2013" Gago: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Gershon "jets613" Distenfeld: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Gago ran into Distenfeld's aces and didn't find a lucky lady with the {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} runout giving the pot to Distenfeld. Gago immediately re-entered the tournament.

Shoma "pp_syon" Ishikawa Claims GGPoker's First WSOP Gold Bracelet

Niveau 8 : 120/240, 30 ante
Shoma Ishikawa (Photo Credit: Asian Poker Tour)
Shoma "pp_syon" Ishikawa

It was a night to remember on GGPoker as their first-ever WSOP bracelet events — part of a 54-event schedule spread out across the next months — kicked off. Unfortunately, on a night where three bracelet winners were supposed to be crowned, two of the events ran into a critical bug and had to be suspended to next week.

The lightning-fast Event #34: $525 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed — clocking in at a mere 3 hours and 15 minutes start to finish to make it the fastest-ever bracelet event — was unaffected by the technical issues and played out as normal. In total, 2,214 entries of $525 each were made to create a total prize pool of $1,107,000.

In the end, it was Shoma "pp_syon" Ishikawa of Japan writing history as GGPoker's first-ever online bracelet winner, as well as the third person from Japan after Naoya Kihara and Takahiro Nakai to claim the coveted prize. Ishikawa is an emerging talent from the land of the rising sun with $34,238 in lifetime cashes according to The Hendon Mob, all made in South Korea and Vietnam.
