Mike Thorpe has been a bundle of activity all day, constantly getting up from the table and talking with fellow players.

The "Crazy Mike" experience was on full display in a hand Thorpe just played against Jason Somerville. "I verbally raise," Thorpe announced as he put in a bet from early position.

Somerville called from the big blind as the flop came {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. "I verbally bet," Thorpe continued after Somerville checked.

Somerville called that bet and another on the {6-Spades} turn. He checked for the third time and Thorpe bet on the {4-Spades} river. "Eye contact time," Thorpe said as he leaned over the table and stared at Somerville.

"Eye contact only. Don't stop looking at my eyes," he told Somerville. Somerville eventually folded and Thorpe showed {k-}{k-}.
