PokerGO WSOP
PokerGO WSOP

The 2021 World Series of Poker is in full swing, and PokerGO is live streaming many of the events.

PokerGO has partnered with CBS Sports Network to provide WSOP coverage with the likes of Lon McEachern, Norman Chad, and Jamie Kerstetter returning to the WSOP broadcast booth this year, along with PokerNews Podcast co-host Jeff Platt from time to time.

CBS Sports Network will televise 16 pre-produced and edited episodes of the 2021 World Series of Poker Main Event, after striking a multi-year deal earlier this year. This deal sees coverage of the WSOP Main Event return to its original broadcast partner after featuring on CBS Sports Spectacular in the mid-1970s.

All 16 episodes will be televised following the conclusion of the tournament.

PokerGO will provide live streaming duties of the World Championship event starting on Day 1A (November 4) until the end on November 17, except Day 1B (November 5).

Away from the Main Event, there will be additional coverage of more than two dozen tournaments thru November 23, 2021. They include the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and the $250,000 Super High Roller.

Here's a look at the remaining PokerGO live-stream schedule:

Craig Varnell
Craig Varnell

On the {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, Philip Verel bet 120,000 and Craig Varnell raised to 420,000. Verel moved all-in for 1,055,000 total and Varnell snap-called.

Philip Verel: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Craig Varnell: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Verel held top set, but Varnell had outs to a flush.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}, giving Verel a full house, and the meaningless {k-Hearts} hit the river as Verel doubled.

Venessa Kade

Vanessa Kade was all in preflop but was ahead holding the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} against the {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} of Li Zhou.

However Kade's recent run of bad luck would continue as the turn would pair the ten of Zhou as the board ran out {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and just like that she was eliminated.

Jones Makes Hero Call for Tournament Life on Scary Board

Niveau 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ryan Jones
Ryan Jones

From the big blind, Ryan Jones three-bet over a hijack raise from Landen Lucas who called.

The flop came the {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Jones led for 125,000 and Lucas called.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} to put four to a straight flush on the board. Both players checked to the river which came the {10-Hearts}.

Jones bet 500,000 into a pot that was about 850,000. Lucas waited a few seconds and raised all in to put Jones to the ultimate test for his tournament life.

Jones went into the tank and thought it out, rubbing his head and looking pained by the huge decision. Eventually he called.

Lucas revealed the {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for nothing. Jones immediately said "Yes!" and tabled the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for the wheel, good enough for the pot. Several players at the table said "Wow!" unable to believe the call from Jones and complimented him on it as he raked in the humongous pot.

Stephen Song
Stephen Song

Stephen Song raised to 80,000 on the button and Ye Yuan three-bet to 280,000 in the small blind, which Song then four-bet to 600,000 to earn a call. On the {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Yuan pushed for 1,375,000 and Song was in the tank with the slightly superior stack size.

After some consideration, Song made the call and there were some gasps by other players at the table when the cards were revealed.

Ye Yuan: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Stephen Song: {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The {10-Clubs} turn immediately locked up the hand for Song and the {6-Diamonds} river was no longer significant.

Gorsuch Will Not Repeat as Champion

John Gorsuch
John Gorsuch

The 2021 WSOP will have a new Millionaire Maker champion as the defending champion John Gorsuch fell early in Day 3.

As told to PokerNews, Gorsuch shoved 275,000 {4-}{4-} preflop and ran straight into the {k-}{k-} of Yiming Li. The board would provide no resuscitation for Gorsuch as it ran out blandly as he was gone.
