Salazar Stretches Lead, Abrams Frustrated

Niveau 31
Hernan Salazar
Hernan Salazar

Hernan Salazar has taken firm control of the table with another big pot.

He went to a {k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop in the cutoff versus Ryan Roeder in the small blind and Scott Abrams in the hijack.

The players all checked the flop, then on a {2-Spades} turn, Salazar bet 300,000 when checked to. Both his opponents called to see the {k-Spades} fall on the river.

Roeder and Abrams again checked to Salazar who bet 600,000, which covered Abrams and nearly covered Roeder.

Roeder folded and Abrams went deep into the tank, verbally trying to figure out the hand.

"I don't understand, I'm confused." Abrams said as he contemplated a call for his tournament life.

"Can you just bluff two people? Probably." He continued.

Abrams apologized to the table for his time making the decision, then ultimately folded.

After Abrams' cards hit the muck Salazar said, "It's very simple. King-deuce"

Abrams expressed doubt in Salazar's claim, saying he had a deuce, which would make it more difficult for Salazar to hold one himself.

Regardless, Salazar now has a massive chip lead and Abrams is on a short stack.
