Scott Abrams of Henderson, Nevada is the chip leader once again after bagging the top stack of Day 1 in Event #21: $1,500 Mixed Omaha. A field of 27 players will return on Tuesday at 2 p.m. to compete for a WSOP gold bracelet and the top prize of $170,269. The 641 entries generated an $855,735 prize pool.
Abrams is joined by Jordan Spurlin, Hernan Salazar, and Ryan Roeder at the top of the leaderboard, each with over 1 million chips. Abrams is looking for his first gold bracelet at the 2021 World Series of Poker after seven career top-ten finishes in mixed game varieties.

Other notables returning for Day 3 include Daniel Negreanu (535,000), Dylan Linde (470,000), Patrick Tardif (410,000), Ari Engel (305,000), and PJ Cha (200,000). Linde is a mixed games specialist on the hunt for his first WSOP gold bracelet and Engel will try to win his second WSOP title of the 2021 WSOP after taking down Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo just last week.
Negreanu had a rollercoaster Day 2 with several chip swings coming late in the evening. After building up his stack over the course of the day, Negreanu was on the wrong end of a four-way pot that brought him near the brink of elimination, but he soon found his way back again and ended the day with a stack that is just below average. Negreanu will return tomorrow to hunt for his seventh gold bracelet after already cashing three times at the 2021 WSOP.
The winner will receive $170,269 and all remaining players are guaranteed at least $5,627.

Day 3 will restart on Tuesday, October 12 at 2 p.m., and the 27 players will return and play until there is a winner. Blinds will begin in Level 26 with pot-limit blinds at 10,000/20,000/20,000 with limits at 20,000/40,000. Levels will once again be 60 minutes on Day 3 with a 15-minute break every two levels and a dinner break to be determined.

With three-way action already in front of him preflop, Jordan Spurlin moved all-in from the big blind for 165,000.
Dana Kellstrom, Daniel Negreanu and Ryan Laplante all called, building an almost 700,000 chip pot.
On the flop, Kellstrom checked, and Negreanu moved all-in for approximately 150,000 effective as he covered both Kellstrom and Laplante. Both players folded as Negreanu showed the , then revealed the rest of his hand.

Ryan Laplante has earned a near double-up in a hand that left Gabriel Ramos with crumbs.
With nearly his entire stack in the middle already on a board of , Ramos called one more big bet, leaving himself with just 10,000 chips behind.
Laplante showed for top two pair and a six-low. Ramos showed a worse two pair and a worse low with , giving the pot to Laplante.
Ramos would lose that final 10,000 in the next hand to Hernan Salazar, whose chip-leading stack sat at over 1.6 million.
