Salazar Remains Active, Lim on Fumes
Limit Omaha 8 or Better
Hernan Salazar had recently given back some of his chips and was back close to 4,000,000. That is until he dragged a big pot that left Michael Lim on a very short stack.
Ryan Roeder raised in early position to 240,000 and got calls from Lim in middle position, Salazar in the small blind, and Lance Sobelman in the big blind.
With nearly a million in the pot already, the four players all checked the flop, but on the turn, Salazar came out firing for 240,000. Sobelman and Roeder folded, but Lim came along to see a river with just one big bet left.
Salazar bet the river and Lim bemoaned his low being counterfeited before folding to save his last 200,000 chips.
