John Racener a confirmé sa bonne forme en s'emparant des commandes de l'Event #25: $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em à l'issue du Jour 2. L'Américain est un des 31 joueurs encore en piste pour capter la majeure partie du prizepool de 2,8 millions de dollars généré par les 604 entrants du tournoi.
Le vainqueur empochera 562 667 et Racener s'est installé en pole position. Avec un bracelet (pris sur un Dealer's Choie Championship, ndlr) et 86 places payées aux WSOP, le runner-up du Main Event 2010 ne craint personne... il se méfiera tout de même de tout le monde puisque le plateau du Day 3 s'annonce fou.
Bin Weng, Vanessa Kade, Jonathan Jaffe, le double vainqueur WSOP Yuri Dzivielevski sont encore dans la danse tout comme le joueur Winamax Bruno Lopes. Kool Shen est l'ultime tricolore en lice de ce tournoi prestigieux, il reprendra avec le 25e tapis des 31 rescapés.
