Shih Busts Wang

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Michael Wang moved all in preflop for about 18,000. Ryan Riess folded and the decision was on Albert Shih who called.

Wang was in trouble as he held the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} up against the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} of Shih.

The flop gave Shih a set as it came the {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The turn gave Wang a glimmer of hope as the {6-Hearts} came off to give him a straight draw. The the river roundly squashed that hope as the case ten the {10-Diamonds} came on the river to give Shih overkill quads and send Wang away with no chips.

Gouveia Dodges Diamonds To Double

Niveau 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Jeff Platt bet on a flop that read {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Elilton Gouveia moved all in. Elvis Toomas was the third player in the hand and re-shoved all in for a larger amount. Platt got out of the way.

Gouveia had the lead with the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for top pair but would have to fade the nut flush draw as Toomas had the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} to pair the seven and give Toomas another out, but the river was the {10-Hearts} to secure the double for Gouveia.
