Turner's Snow Turns to Gold

Niveau 13
Jon Turner
Jon Turner

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Jon Turner just eliminated Christopher Vitch with a vicious suckout in the game that continues to provide plenty of carnage in this tournament.

According to Turner, he raised from the small blind to 6,000 into Vitch's big blind. Vitch called.

Turner drew two cards while Vitch drew three. Turner then continued with another bet for 10,000, and again Vitch called.

On the second draw, Turner still needed two while Vitch only needed one card. Turner opted to check, and Vitch bet 23,000. Turner then check-raised enough to put Vitch all-in for about 70,000. Vitch called.

The jig was up for Turner who said he had seen three deuces and three threes at that point and went for the snow. He however now needed to draw two to his {5-}{3-}{2-}. Vitch showed {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}, which was way ahead of Turner's two-card draw.

That is until Turner magically pulled a {7-} and a {4-} to drill a wheel, eliminating Vitch in crushing fashion.

Givens Eliminates Leng in Huge Pot

Niveau 14

Pot-Limit Triple Draw

Ryan Leng has left the tournament floor, while Will Givens now has a huge stack in front of him courtesy of Leng.

As told by his tablemates, Givens was dealt a pat {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, and Leng tried to break an eight to run down Givens number three.

Leng couldn't improve his hand, and an over 200,000 chip pot went to Givens.
