Elias Raises on the River

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Darren Elias raised to 800 from the button and the small blind called.

The flop was {4-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades} and the small blind checked. Elias bet 700 and the small blind called.

The turn was {7-Spades} and both players checked to see a river {3-Diamonds}.

The small blind bet 1,000 on the river and Elias raised to 6,000. The small blind thought it over briefly and showed {a-Spades}{10-Spades} while he tossed his hand in the muck.

Leanos Calls Down Ogita

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Michael Leanos and Daisuke Ogita built up a pot of around 8,000 pre-flop. Ogita bet 3,500 on the {7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades} board and Leanos called.

The river came the {3-Diamonds} and Ogita continued for 7,200. Leanos again called to see the {10-Diamonds} fall on the river. Ogita bet another 5,500 and Leanos quickly called.

Ogita showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}, but Leanos had outflopped him with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for two pair, aces and sevens.

Ogita was left with around 25,000 but got some back the next hand when he three-bet to 3,000 from the button and an opponent called in the hijack. Ogita bet 3,500 on the {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop and was called, then both players checked down the {3-Hearts} turn and {a-Spades} river. His opponent turned over {10-}{9-} for a missed straight draw, while Ogita showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} to win with king-high.

Vasquez Shows Aces, Tilts Stalba

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

There was already 21,000 in the middle on the turn {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} when Alvaro Vasquez bet 6,200 and Thomas Stalba called.

On the river {7-Spades}, Vasquez sized up to 10,000 and Stalba called.

Vasquez tabled {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Stalba looked frustrated as he mucked.

"God d*****," said Stalba. "Thank god the diamond didn't come, I was piling in."

Vasquez happily dragged the pot as Stalba continued to stew.

"That is so sick," he said to PokerNews. " I can't believe it."

Early Exit for Leng Against Hunichen

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

The cards were already on their backs with the turn reading {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} when Ryan Leng was all-in and at risk holding the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for the top two pair. Chris Hunichen had the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nut flush tabled and the {7-Hearts} river paired the board but failed to improve Leng.

"Good game guys," Leng said on the way out as Hunichen slowly raked in the pot while he was enjoying a massage.

Michael Noori raised to 700 preflop from middle position and was called by David Golder in the cutoff, David Baker in the big blind, the small blind, and the button.

The flop came out {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} and action checked around to Golder who bet 1,600. Baker and Noori called while the small blind and the other players folded.

The turn came out the {2-Clubs} and action checked once more to Golder who bet 4,400 and was called by Baker, while Noori folded.

The river came out a {3-Spades} and action checked through. Golder showed down {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} while Baker had {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} which was the best hand and took down the pot.

Sengphet Collecting Chips

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Le Sengphet
Le Sengphet

The hijack opened for 1,000 and La Sengphet called from the button before the small blind three-bet to 3,800.

The initial raiser folded while Sengphet called and action went heads-up to the {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop.

Action went check-check and the {2-Hearts} fell on the turn.

The small blind check-called the 4,800 bet from Sengphet and then did the same for 11,700 after the {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Sengphet quickly rolled over {k-Spades}{q-Spades} and it was good as she collected the pot after her opponent mucked their hand facedown.

Wainer Hits a Straight Flush to Double

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Paul Wainer was just on the lucky end of a massive cooler to double up.

According to Wainer, who took a picture of the {8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board, his opponent had {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} for queens full. Wainer, though, had {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the straight flush with all his chips in the middle.

"It's been a pretty cool experience," Wainer, who has just $10,950 in career earnings, said about his time in the Main Event so far.
