Boski Busts Pocket Eights

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jeff Boski raised from the cutoff to 6,000 and was re-raised by Brad Pratt on the button who went all in for 17,000. The blinds got out of the way and Boski called.

Jeff Boski: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
Brad Pratt: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Boski flopped a wheel with {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} coming down and the {a-Clubs} turn and {5-Clubs} river were no help to Pratt's pocket eights as Boski sent him to the rail.

Guzzardi Continues Impressive Day 1 Run

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A player in early position open-shoved for 50,000 and Michael Guzzardi called from late position.

Early position: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Michael Guzzardi: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Though he was completely dominated and only had one suit available, early position flopped a backdoor flush draw and backdoor straight draw on the {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board. However, the {9-Clubs} had him drawing dead and sent Guzzardi over the 200,000-chip mark.

The {3-Diamonds} completed the board.

Aaron Overton: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Garry Gates: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} safe for the sevens and securing the double up for Overton.

Rossitto Continues to Roll, Now at 200,000

Niveau 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Rossitto opened to 6,000 from the hijack and Maurice Hawkins three-bet to 18,000 from the button. The big blind shoved for his final 55,000 chips and Rossitto went all-in over the top. Hawkins would briefly contemplate before folding.

Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Michael Rossitto: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, giving the big blind very little help. The {5-Hearts} on the turn had him drawing to three outs.

The {8-Spades} river eliminated the big blind from the tournament and pushed the Italian to exactly 200,000 chips.

Andrada Shoves The Turn

Niveau 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Alex Foxen opened the action to 6,000 from early position. It folded to the small blind who made the call as well as Ryan Andrada in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and all players checked. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and now things heated up. The small blind player tanked before betting 11,000. Andrada moved all in for 34,000 total and Foxen got out of the way. The small blind player took some more time before eventually letting his hand go and awarding the pot to Andrada.
